A navigation bar that uses server side includes to specify where each element
will take you and the text that will appear in the element. It looks like
this:

Another navigation artifact that I developed with Barry Paul is the four-way
navigation button. This also uses server side includes to identify such
things as the link, the text that will appear on the status bar,
and the target for use with frames. If the link field is set
to "-", it indicates no link, and no text appears in the status bar.
