Some Mars links:
I recently had the privilege of developing some Tools
to visualize Martian terrain. Here's some examples:
- extractpds: Builds 3D texture mapped terrains of Mars. Has limited
capability of MOC images textured onto Viking-era terrain.
- viewpds: Views almost any PDS format image including:
DTM, MDIM, MOC, has interactive histogram equalization,
runs under IRIX and Windows NT.
- viewmars: Interactively views database of MDIM files both
1/64th and 1/256 KM/pixel resolutions.
