OVERGRID
version 1.1
-
significant efficiency improvement by eliminating copy of entities on disk.
Double precision entities are now stored in-core. Grided functions are
now internal.
-
average cell size grid diagnostic function to highlight mismatches in grid
resolution in overlapped zones.
-
iblanks and Jacobians statistics under the DIAGNOS module.
-
new preliminary capability to handle triangles database. Functions supported
include read/write files in CART3D or FAST unstructured formats (files
must have .tri and .fst extensions, respectively) view in wireframe or
shaded modes, grided functions for reverse, mirror, scale, translate, rotate.
-
An optional input parameter IFCC (after IAUC) was added to SURGRD to turn
on/off automatic following of interior control curves.
-
A multiple concatenation bug was fixed in GRIDED. Checks were added for
output filename validity.
-
Fixed bugs in RunPeg and RECURV
-
Added a folded-surface option to SMOGRD

Users on NAS machines have the option to link to pre-compiled executables
on server machines. Choose the appropriate installation, and make both
both of the following additions to your path and to your environment. To
access these directories on vn, eagle, or newton[1234], you must be added
to our Access Control List (ACL). Contact Stuart Rogers, rogers@nas.nasa.gov,
to be added. (If you are a user outside NASA, you will have to sign a non-disclosure
statement first). These examples are for /bin/csh users:
-
SGI workstations on .nas.nasa.gov network, single precision:
set path = ( /r/octane13/u/wk/chimera/cgt0.9/bin
$path )
setenv SCRIPTLIB /r/octane13/u/wk/chimera/cgt0.9/scriptlib
-
SGI workstations on .nas.nasa.gov network, double precision:
set path = ( /r/octane13/u/wk/chimera/cgt0.9_dp/bin
$path )
setenv SCRIPTLIB /r/octane13/u/wk/chimera/cgt0.9_dp/scriptlib
-
vn, eagle, and newton:
set path = ( /usr/unsupported/bin/chimera/cgt0.9/bin
$path )
setenv SCRIPTLIB /usr/unsupported/bin/chimera/cgt0.9/scriptlib
OVERGRID users on NAS workstations also have to copy the following
preferences file and put it in the user's home directory:
/r/octane13/u/wk/chimera/cgt0.9/bin/.overgridrc
Want to Get It?
