working under U.S. government laboratories, U.S. corporations and U.S. academic institutions
subject to a Software Usage Agreement and NASA export control regulations.
If you are an existing user of CGT 2.0 and would like a copy of CGT 2.1,
please send e-mail to William.M.Chan@nasa.gov
If you are a new user of CGT or an existing user of CGT 1.9 or earlier, first
fill out a new Software Usage Agreement (SUA) form from the
NAS website
and fax it to the Ames Software Release Authority (number on first page of form).
Make sure the appropriate form is selected based on your affiliation.

Overset Grid Software
The Chimera Grid Tools
package contains a number of utilities, libraries and scripts for grid manipulation, grid generation,
and solution analysis. Some of the main modules include:
OVERGRID -
a graphical interface for visualization, manipulation and generation of geometry/grids and
preparation of inputs for the OVERFLOW-2 flow solver.
Script Library -
a collection of Tcl script macros for manipulation and generation of geometry/grids and
preparation of inputs for the OVERFLOW-2 flow solver. These macros are particularly useful
for building parameterized grid generation scripts for complex configurations.
SRAP -
a spline, redistribution and projection tool for surfaces and curves
SURGRD -
a hyperbolic and algebraic surface grid generator
TRIGED -
a grid editor for unstructured surface triangulations
MIXSUR,OVERINT -
a hybrid surface grid generator for creating non-overlapping quadrilaterals and triangles
from overset surface grids; and a tool for computing pressure and viscous force, moment, and
mass flow rate coefficients
OVERSMART -
a tool for generating executive summary of convergence of flow and turbulence residuals
for all grids, and convergence of forces and moments for various components.
OVERPLOT -
a graphical interface for plotting residual and flow coefficient histories from output files
created by the OVERFLOW flow solver. Section Cp plots can also be obtained on overlapping
surfaces.
